Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough 8-count
  • 32 slices pepperoni
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks each cut in half

Instructions

  • Prepare the oven. Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper. You can also lightly grease the pan instead.
  • Fill the crescent dough. Separate the dough into eight triangles. Place four slices of pepperoni near the wide end of each triangle and top with one piece of mozzarella.
  • Roll them up. Beginning at the wide end, wrap each triangle around the filling and roll toward the pointed tip. Gently tuck the sides inward as you go to help keep the melted cheese inside.
  • Arrange for baking. Place the assembled rolls seam-side down on the prepared pan, leaving a small amount of space between each one.
  • Bake until golden. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown and the mozzarella has melted.
  • Cool briefly and serve. Let the pizza rolls rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving them warm with your favorite pizza or marinara sauce.
