Preheat the Oven
Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Slice the Potatoes
Slice potatoes into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
Try to keep slices even for consistent cooking.
Bake the Potato Base
Arrange potato slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Add Toppings
Remove potatoes from the oven.
Sprinkle evenly with cheddar cheese and chopped bacon.
Melt & Finish
Return to oven for 5–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish & Serve
Remove from oven and top with green onions.
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
