Ingredients

  • 14 oz kielbasa sausage sliced into ½-inch rounds (about 400 g)
  • ½ cup Brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce regular or low-sodium
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa and toss until every piece is coated. Spread the sausage in a single layer in the prepared dish and pour any remaining glaze over the top.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the kielbasa is hot and the glaze is bubbling, thick, and glossy around the edges.
  • Let the kielbasa bites rest for 5 minutes so the glaze can thicken slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm with toothpicks.

Notes

For the stickiest glaze, keep the kielbasa in a single layer and let the bites rest for 5 minutes after baking. Turkey kielbasa can be substituted for pork-and-beef kielbasa.
