Crispy Parmesan Roasted Cabbage Steaks
Crispy Parmesan Roasted Cabbage Steaks are a simple, flavor-packed side dish made with thick slices of cabbage roasted until golden and tender, then topped with savory Parmesan for a perfectly crispy, cheesy finish.
- 1 medium head green cabbage
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley chopped (optional garnish)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice cabbage from top to bottom into 3/4-inch thick steaks, keeping the core intact.
Place steaks on the baking sheet. Brush generously with olive oil.
Mix spices together and sprinkle evenly over the steaks.
Roast for 20 minutes until the bottoms are golden.
Remove from oven, top evenly with parmesan cheese.
Return to oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden and edges are crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
