This easy Philly Cheese Steak Casserole combines seasoned ground beef, bell peppers, onions, provolone, and a simple egg-and-cream mixture in a hearty baked dinner.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. When the beef is partly browned, add the chopped onion and bell peppers and continue cooking until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables begin to soften.
Stir in the seasoned salt and minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease.
Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and arrange the provolone slices over the top.
Whisk the eggs, heavy whipping cream, and Worcestershire sauce together in a bowl, then pour the mixture evenly over the beef and cheese.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the casserole is set and cooked through.
Let the casserole stand for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Drain excess grease from the beef before assembling so the casserole sets cleanly. Letting it rest briefly after baking also makes it easier to cut into portions.
